ABOUT
JOEY PITTORINO is an NYC based actor who excels in playing happy-go-lucky-trouble-makers with sweet boyish charm, but he's really down to play anything… he could use the work.
Born and bred in the burbs of Massachusetts, he grew up working for his father’s excavation company and made the obvious transition to the theater when he discovered he hated construction.
Since then, he's received his BFA in Acting from Pace University with a minor in Bathwater Aerobics, and has acted professionally on stage, TV, in numerous short films, and unprofessionally in a lot of other crap.
Joey will soon be reprising the role of Jimmy Nowak in Penguin Rep Theatre’s Off-Broadway production of Miracle on South Division Street, to many critics' surprise. He is also currently writing a TV show about human connection on the NYC subway, and is adapting the Jacobean Tragedy The Duchess of Malfi into a 1960’s mafia play.
Joey is constantly on the look for fun, and strives to capitalize on his creativity daily and in as many ways as possible. When not acting, he is usually cartooning, playing piano, reading a play, listening to 70's funk, writing, people watching, making up a song, or trying to make someone laugh.
